We are an oasis of hospitality providing a safe and pleasant place for persons in need, to shower, shave, brush their teeth, use a toilet, have clothes laundered, have use of a phone and have a place to receive messages and mail.

We believe that dignity is the beginning of hope.

Addressing them by name, we hope to refresh and renew our guests in body and spirit from the hardships of living on the streets. We aim to maintain or restore the human dignity of all those we serve. Though they may not have a dime we want each of our guests to feel like a million and leave our facility knowing, "it is truly good for me to have been here."

Last year our generous staff, volunteers and benefactors provided 20,477 showers to 1929 brothers and sisters in need. As Mother Teresa said, "It is not how much you give, but how much love you put into the giving that's important."

Mary Magdalen House is located at 1223 Main Street just north of 12th Street in downtown Cincinnati. It is open daily except Sundays.

Saturday Only — 8am to 12 Noon
